Transnet NP Inc. is a non profit that focuses on creating funding for clients that do not have the means or insurance coverage to pay for Mental Health and Substance abuse treatment. This non profit also is set to present a recovery accepting community presence. This is accomplished by creating community inclusion projects where the community at large will be invited to community events where they will share the experience with persons in sustained recovery. This mission was created to dispel the misconceptions and stigmas associated with recovery and the recovery community. Transnet Non Profit has established a network of recovery projects. These projects include podcast, video and 1 to 1 certified Recovery treatment programs. All these projects warrant and need our support and participation. Through out the recovery community it is an accepted fact that recovery is a process. A process that requires faith. Faith that is built on knowing that strong faith is built by resistance, much like our muscles require the resistance of weights to get stronger, we gain strong faith by actively going through trials and tribulations and depending on our faith in the GOD of our understanding to pull us through.
LIFE IS HILLS AND VALLEYS we must enjoin the trials of our valleys as much as we enjoy the celebration of success from the mountain tops. This process of recovery affects us all as we all experience the aspects of recovery from something, be it bad health, a failed relationship or drugs and alcohol. The steps of recovery are the same no matter what you are recovering from. This recovery process builds stronger character and a better appreciation of life itself. It remains a duty to do better and when we strive to do better we are at our very best.
